TNNA Show January 2007 Day 1 (more)

Well Victoria and I made it to San Diego! We finally got here about midnight our time and then went and had a great dinner at the hotel restaurant. She had a cheeseburger and I had a salad. And I had a martini. It was good. They have this specialty martini here, the "Crazy Dazy" martini, or something.

There are tons of people staying here for the show. We even saw Linda Cortwright of Wild Fibers magazine in the lobby!

I am so tired I cant' stay awake... I will post more tomorrow. :D

Wow you have to go all the way to SanDiego to see someone from home!
Hope you have a great time!

Again, I'm envious! I wish I could attend the conference with you. Sigh. . . . I can't wait to see all of the new goodies.

Behind on my blog reading. If only I'd known you were going to SD. There are 3 yarn stores within walking distance of downtown. There used to be one in Coronado, too, a couple of years ago. Knitting is so trendy. Your information was wrong. I'll try to keep you more informed next time! I'm glad you had fun. I'm in exile in the east and miss SD every single day.

No LYS within reasonable walking distance of the San Diego convention center but there's at least one (The Grove) just a #2 bus ride away from 4th & Broadway. The shop that was in Little Italy/downtown was short lived. Needleworks aka the Hooters yarn shop is in the same strip mall as Hooters in Mission Valley. I keep a listing of shops and knitting groups on my web page (link from blog).
